Your port day

Carnival in San Juan.

Carnival ships usually dock at Pier 4, the Carnival-run terminal on the Old San Juan waterfront — about a 5-minute walk from our carts.

In our own log of ship calls from August 2023 to December 2025, the Carnival ships we saw most were Carnival Celebration, Mardi Gras, Magic, Venezia, Vista and Sunshine, arriving most often between 7:00 and 10:30 AM.

With a morning arrival you can ride first thing, then have the whole afternoon for lunch and shopping.
