Your port day
Royal Caribbean in San Juan.
Royal Caribbean day calls often use Pier 3 on the Old San Juan waterfront, about a 5-minute walk from our carts. Some ships — especially those starting or ending a cruise in San Juan — use the Pan American Pier across the bay at Isla Grande, which is not walkable — take a taxi to Old San Juan (about 10–15 minutes) and ask for Calle Recinto Sur.
In our own log of ship calls from August 2023 to December 2025, the Royal Caribbean ships we saw most were Rhapsody, Jewel, Symphony, Adventure, Grandeur, Freedom, Explorer and Serenade of the Seas, arriving anywhere from 6:00 AM (Rhapsody, Jewel) to late morning (Symphony, Freedom) and some early afternoons.
Check your arrival time in the app: early arrivals can ride before the heat; afternoon arrivals still have time before our last rides.
